39 years of experience as a legal and conference interpreter/translator with the Hong Kong Government, organizations of the United Nations family, the Olympic Games and the private sector.  During this period, interpreted for several heads of state and government;

Ten years of experience teaching simultaneous interpretation to new government recruits and several years of teaching translation at tertiary level;

Speaker at a number of interpreting/translating conferences held in Hong Kong and Australia;

Accredited as a senior conference interpreter with the Australian Government;

Published one book “Theory and Practice of Interpreting” (Commercial Press Hong Kong) and several articles on the subject of Chinese-English translating and interpreting.
